TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR THE PEACEFUL TIMES. THESE DAYS ARE UNCERTAIN FOR SO MANY.

JOIN ME ON ANGEL BRIAN'S THANKFUL THURSDAY
Here we are, its already Thursday. The four of us ( me, Zach, David, mama)
are in the middle of all this traffic in Norfolk Virginia. At least its not Virginia Beach which the traffic is much worse there. Shew, the chaos makes me nervous. In just a bit I should be able to snap a picture of the river again ( Elizabeth River in Virginia)
But first, last night, Im not sure if I had a panic attack or my blood sugar was low. I was halfway sleeping. So maybe, I was dreaming but I was lightheaded felt like I was going in and out and a racing heartbeat. I got up, went to the kitchen ,opened the fridge, grabbed the coffee creamer and took a sip. I went back to bed with no more problems that I know of.
So, what am I thankful for today? The receptionist at the doctor's office who explained to us where the Navy Base is here in Norfolk Virginia. Our president, Donald Trump spoke there last Sunday. To me, that is neat.
What are your plans for today? I am sure we will enjoy this beautiful day here in Virginia. Maybe mall shopping at Greenbrier Mall. Window shopping and not actual buying but that kind of shopping is still fun.😁
Happy Poetic Thursday!
So happy to see my Poetic Friends!! I hope you found some time this past week to write a poem for the crazy photo I gave you last week as inspiration for today. I thought the guy in the photo was a little scary but then that’s me. What did he inspire you to write in the way of a poem??
ACROSTIC POEM
There was a cat named Zach
He went to school to be a vet
Everyone thought this was a hack
Come to find out
All his friends didn't believe him, they
Thought this was a doubt
Days passed, and he earned his school degree
Offers for jobs and the choices he made
Can you say Zach for Pet Meds, Appointee?
Wednesday was a day to reflect; here is my prompt, which I didn't answer...
It's Saturday today, like I said. So here I am, staring at my computer, typing on my keyboard. I missed a few word prompts this past week, which I answered throughout this blog post. But first, I need to get my husband started on his day, take our meds, and fix some coffee. How could I start a day without coffee?
