AWWW MONDAYS

I don't really like scary stuff at Halloween. Yes, I enjoy candy. If Zach had a Fall Festival or if he were trick-or-treating, I would go to churches, colleges in the area, or to houses where I knew the people who lived there. I like skeletons and scarecrows, which reminds me of this song that Zach and I enjoyed when he was little.

Yes, I said that right. For my awww Monday, I want to find a picture that makes me go awww when I don't really feel like saying awww. But I know I need it. I am thankful for this prompt on Mondays. This prompt reminds me to look for the bright side. There is always a bright side to everything.

My mom just had the procedure last week, so she is in recovery, and last night she began hurting in her upper back. She will head back to the hospital that did the procedure soon. She's at the local hospital right now and will be transported.

I haven't felt like writing today. Period. Writing is a part of my coping skills, so I figured I would write a little tonight before I take a shower, then read, then eventually sleep. I will sleep well, I hope. Last night's sleep was eventful. I woke up every hour or every two hours to pee. I also had severe heartburn, bloating, and the like. All the stuff it's a pleasure to get rid of. I made it through the night only to throw up early this morning. These are symptoms of the weight loss medicine I am taking.

The weird thing is, it's 9p.m. here and I am not sleepy. Anyway, I probably should get off the computer. That may help. But first, I will go to Pinterest to find my awww Monday. Like I said earlier, seeing a bright side is a good thing...

 so I didn't do this in the Walmart cooler section

, featuring the latest Blue Bell ice cream flavors, but I sure did feel like it. Is it snowing yet? I'm ready for Fall, at least.

Like I was talking about earlier in my post, I love the produce and freezer section of Walmart. It's cold; my favorite temperature setting. My mom, however, tries to stay away from it. She is cold at the age of 78, and I am hot at the age of 51. Isn't life something? I love naps, cat cuddles, my blog, music, and reading. Oh and food. So much that I am on Wegovy for weight loss. But to digress, let's look at Pinterest for Tuesday funnies, then post some for a good laugh.

Can you say a good mood, Monday with a straight face?

Today is Monday. I tried to be in a good mood all day long. So far, I have succeeded. Please, do not jinx me!

AWWW MONDAYS, I had one thing to try to set my good mood astray. I was cooking BBQ chicken and rice, taking the metal tray out for a bit, I must have cut a hole in the bottom when I was testing its doneness, causing some sauce to leak all over my oven. I was about to lose my vibe, on a good mood, Monday. Luckily, I was talking with my bestie, who walked me through it. I didn't lose my temper. Now, my son is putting the finishing touches on the grill for the chicken. It's a winning situation!

So today is ok for me. I should get one of those stands that Monti can lie on while I'm blogging. He takes over my keyboard table. I don't mind too much. Cats are awesome companions. Today has not been bad for a Monday. Although every day feels the same because I work from home. Oh, I only slept for three hours last night, so I'm sleepy to say the least, but content and peaceful. That is a great combination to me. To be content and peaceful. Please don't jinx it, universe. 🥰 As far as Sparks go, see the top photo. ⬆️ Have a great Awww Monday.

 Hey friends! So I really thought I was gonna lose my marbles. Well, it won't be the first time.😟 I'm here on my blog, doing what I love: writing. Now, for some kitty snuggles. I think my cats have noticed my stress of being a caregiver, mom, wife, and a traumatic Brain Injury Thriver/Survivor, the past couple of years. It's time to regroup.
