SATURDAY MORNING THOUGHTS

This morning I was trying to think of my life as a positive event, such as my work life.

My life after graduating high school began with recovering from a TBI, which I am still recovering from at 51. I did find time to go to a technical school to earn an Associate in Applied Science and an Associate in General Education.
I have had several jobs as a childcare provider with family and friends over the years. A candy stripper at the local hospital in high-school. After high-school I moved to Boone N. Carolina and worked a temporary job at Goodwin Weavers and for the Grove Park Inn as a maid. I've worked for a pet store in my local town, a volunteer worker for Human Resorces at RCHospital, cleaner for my church for several years, and now a care giver for my husband.

I want you to understand the power of words. Words could be from those you are around to the words you tell yourself. Those words are powerful.

A person who battles depression and severe anxiety knows that the way to speak to oneself matters a lot. Our words mean life or death to ourself and others. Be mindful of the way you speak.

I wrestle with feelings of waste. Did I waste my life? At times I feel I did. Putting my work experiences down on paper helped me to see a positive side to my life. I needed that.

I feel as if others need that to. The power of our thinking is so strong that sometimes brain fog is welcome. Don't you just need to give the brain a rest at times?

Much Love,
Heidi💜

What I say about it

The time is right for a Friday Fill-in:

My plans for August include looking forward to cooler weather and Fall season.

2. I exercise my brain by writing .

3. I try not to let food go to waste.

4. I know it's going to be a good day when everything seems to fall into place.

This morning with Tux and Monti

It's time for Feline Friday!
Tux and Monti get the house to themselves some today as Daddy David has a doctor's appointment at 12pm.
They say, We are sure to get some nap time in as mama won't be kissing us, which wakes us up at times.
Mama doesn't like to get out a lot; she would rather spend time with us and work on her blog, but she knows that doctor check-ups are good for Daddy, her, and Zach.
Maybe they will bring us something. We will scope the bags when they get home.

Much love,
Monti and Tux🐾(Smokey is still hunting somewhere outside)
