MY WORD, IT'S WEDNESDAY

Oh, I don't remember her name, but I overheard a lady telling her friend that she was "between a rock and a hard place", and that brought it to my memory the time I felt that way. What I thought was me just being lazy or needing to "knuckle down" was really me being overwhelmed with responsibility. The kind of responsibility that wasn't "my" responsibility. However, I was made to feel so. I was at the stage where I was "long in the tooth"; I was not young anymore. When dealing with my own health, well-being, and sense of self-worth, I was weak. I could handle it, but just handle it at a much slower pace. That's when I realized that I knew the lady. Her story is an intense one.

You see, there was the local prostitute who had five children with a man who seemed to get "satisfaction" from thinking he was "exempt" from any responsibility of his own life. He was an "absent" father to his children from his marriage of thirty years. Maybe it was a "combination" of his lack of listening to an "echo" from the Holy Spirit, and the fact that all he wanted to do was have "fun".

Either way, this was the wife. His wife, who felt empty of the love that she deserved from a husband who never grew up. He wasn't mature while thinking the world revolved around him instead of the sun. Good Grief!

ALL ABOUT TUESDAY

 so I didn't do this in the Walmart cooler section

, featuring the latest Blue Bell ice cream flavors, but I sure did feel like it. Is it snowing yet? I'm ready for Fall, at least.

Like I was talking about earlier in my post, I love the produce and freezer section of Walmart. It's cold; my favorite temperature setting. My mom, however, tries to stay away from it. She is cold at the age of 78, and I am hot at the age of 51. Isn't life something? I love naps, cat cuddles, my blog, music, and reading. Oh and food. So much that I am on Wegovy for weight loss. But to digress, let's look at Pinterest for Tuesday funnies, then post some for a good laugh.
